June 5, 2010  New York C3TV Skateboard Radio had an awesome and most memorable experience at  the 2010 Maloof Money Cup in Flushing Meadows Corona Park in  NYC! "The Copeland Brothers" Nick Copeland age 20, Josh Copeland age 21 and Zach Copeland age 17 founder, radio show hosts, local Atlanta skateboarders and intern photo journalists had the time of their lives! Since 2008 the family and radio gurus have been interviewing and featuring the best of skateboarding professional athletes and industry members. Plus, featuring the Maloof Money Cup CEO Tim McFerran and the World's Greatest Skateboarding Competition on C3TV Skateboard Radio since 2009! 


It had been a long time dream to finally get to the competition and see it first hand. It is however, the dream of all members of the C3TV Radio Crew and Atlanta skate community to host the Maloof Money Cup in Atlanta, GA 2011 or in 2012. "The Copeland Brothers" have had a couple of interviews with Tim McFerran CEO of Maloof Money Cup discussing this very opportunity! "Atlanta is one of our cities of choice. Find us a location and we will definitely build a skate plaza!" said Tim McFerran CEO of Maloof Money Cup in 2009 C3TV Radio Atlanta interview.  Since then entire C3TV Radio production team and "The Copeland Bothers" have spearheaded  local campaigns to increase awareness for Maloof Money Cup in Atlanta, GA and have put on local promotional events to ambassador for the efforts of Maloof Money Cup in NYC!  The recent Woodstock 2 Maloof Money Cup Campaign was to be an attempt to reach out to skateboarders worldwide to invite them to join in on a skateboarding caravan to the 2010 Maloof Money Cup Competition in New York City! 


C3TV Radio put on a local skateboarding event in partnership with Maloof Money Cup, Woodward Skatepark and with the sponsorship support of Vitamin Water, Volcom and Ergo Apparel.  C3TV Radio appreciates all the support of these sponsors and of the local media per Cumulus Radio and CBS Radio stations as well as their own Atlanta radio station! The event was a success with participating skaters from all over the Georgia Region! However, only yielding two local Atlanta area winners Patrick Maursan age 17 of Lawrenceville, GA and Devan Lee age 13 of Lawrenceville, GA  both young men skated a GREAT game of skate and best trick contest! Winning prizes from all sponsors including the opportunity to go to Maloof Money Cup NYC! 

C3TV Radio however, regreting to report that the winners did not get to attend the Maloof Money Cup NYC competition due to circumstances beyond control. However, both winners will be provided consolation prizes in lieu of the opportunity per the Orange County, CA Maloof Money Cup Competition.  The entire C3TV Radio family sends their deep appreciation and gratitude for the support of the skateboard industry and local Atlanta community. "We are looking forward to MALOOF MONEY CUP ORANGE COUNTY, CA  in Aug. 2010 and the prospect of having our local Atlanta Skateboard Champions there!  Definitely, working on a few surprises for the Atlanta locals and skaters who could not make it to NYC!"
